Pippin at Westmont Randi and David are going to see "Pippin" at
Westmont on Saturday, April 21st at 7:30pm. Randi has already
bought her tickets, along with her friend Lynn, but you can get yours
by reading the info online at www.westmontdrama.com.
It is closing night, so get your order in soon. If you want to
sit with another couple, send your money in together. Also, we
will meet for dinner at 5:30pm at Sonoma Chicken Coop in
Campbell. Westmont puts on top notch shows... this show is being
done in the round and I am sure it will be creative. Randi
produced this show and was in it with Darren (who played Theo) a number
of years ago. It has beautiful music (Stephen Schwartz who
also did "Wicked") and a fun plot. Let Randi
know if you are going so she will know to expect you.
Saturday Coffee
Clatches
Continue
After
much discussion, it was decided to try something different
for coffee this year. We will be picking a new place to visit each
month. We will go to that location for the entire month, unless we
decide to have an "away" coffee :-) For the month of April, we
will be back in Evergreen at Starbuck's next to Govea's restaurant. It
is in the shopping center at Quimby & Tully Road across Quimby from
Michael's. For anyone wanting to walk there, Ginny has offered her
house as the meeting spot at 8:30.
We will also have an "Easter Vacation Coffee" at the
Starbuck's by Cosentino's on Thursday, April 12th (AKA Merrilee's
birthday) at 9 AM.

The Rules of
Chocolate
If you get
melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.
Chocolate
covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as
fruit, so eat as many as you want.
The problem: How
to get two pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car.
The solution: Eat it in the parking lot.
Diet tip: Eat a
chocolate bar before each meal.
It'll take the edge off your appetite and you'll eat less.
A nice box of
chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one
place. Isn't that handy?
If you can't eat
all your chocolate, it will keep in the
freezer. But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with
you?
If calories are
an issue, store your chocolate on top of the
fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the
chocolate to protect themselves.
Money talks.
Chocolate sings.
Chocolate has
many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.
Why is there no
such organization as Chocoholics Anonymous?
Because no one wants to quit.
Put "eat
chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at
least you'll get one thing done.
Chocolate is a
health food. Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean
= vegetable. Sugar is derived either from sugar beets or cane, both
vegetables. And, of course, the milk/cream is dairy.
So eat more chocolate to meet the dietary requirements for daily
vegetable
and dairy intake.
