The editor is not sure if there is
a meeting this month or not. She's guessing it's a "NO GO" due to
the Ladies Trip.
Coffee &
Candidate at Merrilee's On Saturday, April 5th,
Merrilee will host coffee at her house - 3146 Meadowlands Lane.
She will invite her friend, Sylvia Alvarez, who is running for City
Council, so that you will have an opportunity to meet her. Come
join us on Saturday for coffee, breakfast, and visiting.
Ladies Trip to Chico We're off to visit Dee the last
weekend in April. Some people are going on Thursday
morning....some Friday morning.....then the last group will be leaving
town around Noon on Friday. The Thursday morning
group is Vicki, Merrilee, Joan, & I think Robin? The Friday
morning group is Janis, Kathy R, & Sue Ballard? The Friday
noontime group is Tina, Sally, Ginny, & Marti? Please let
Ginny know if she has left you
out as she will need to cancel a
room or two of the 4 she is holding besides her own
room.

Mother’s Day
At the planning meeting we
discussed camping at Del Valle in the Livermore Valley over Mother’s
Day weekend
May 9-11th. Reservations for camping can be made at ReserveAmerica.com. This is open to any and all- Las
Madres and friends of
LM. Wilson’s are in site 38. For
you non-camper folks, we thought maybe you would like to spend the day
Saturday with us campers and have a big potluck BBQ Saturday around
5pm. The guys can cook….Shirley has got Lou cooking pancakes HA HA but
we may get him to do pancake breakfast on Sunday if that is his
speciality. Let Joan know if you are
camping and if you are interested in the BBQ. If we don’t get many
BBQers it is subject to cancellation. This
is a good place for bikes….lots of flat paths and lots of BIG hills for
the more adventuresome. Bocce Ball on the lawn is also fun. Horseshoe
pits are there also.
Los Padres Golf The
dates are May 30th to June 1st at Forest Meadows. non-golfers are
welcome to go for the good times and companionship. For more info

Pinecrest We
have plenty of spots and most of us will probably go from July 25th
on. The sites are available starting different days, depending on
what we could get.

We've moved our "regular" place to
Le Boulanger at San Felipe and Yerba Buena. There is a Starbuck
across from it if you need something "special" to go with your bagel or
pastry. Our field trip this month is yet to be determined.
