July
Meeting Update...Sue
Butler
Thank you to Randi
for hosting a nice and relaxing and well
attended dinner meeting in July.
Some of
us (as it was pretty hot outside,)
took a walk on the trail behind
her house. Others just visited
in the air conditioned house.
Once we
reconnected it was time to eat, but
there was so much food left the
husband's could have been there to eat
as well.
We
discussed very little business other
than if you are planning on attending
the ladies fall trip, please make the
deposit check out to Sue Ballard.
If
interested in camping at New Brighton,
there are some sites available to
share for the Sept. 18-20
weekend. Mary and Ed Ryan will
be there, so if you would like to come
for the day or spend the weekend,
please email Sue
Butler.
We are
trying to find out who is planning on
bocce night on September 26th.
Same as in the past, start at 5
p.m. Play, eat and visit and
have dessert at the Butler's.
Contact Sue
Ballard if you are
going to be there and what you would
like to bring (dessert, appetizer or
side dish) BYOB
The
Lunch Bunch....Randi
There will not
be a Lunch Bunch this
month as Randi will be
out of the country.
Congratulations!
Our
congratulations to Sharon
and Bill Simmons who will
be celebrating 40 years of
wedded bliss on the 2nd.
Fall
Ladies Trip
Kathy Roessler was able
to reserve a house. Here's the
info she sent me:
"
The Fall Ladies trip will be
Thursday Oct. 1 to Sunday Oct. 4. We
are renting a mountain home above
Pioneer for $690. With 11 ladies
going it should be $63 apiece for
the 3 nights. Everyone should have
sent in their $40 deposit to Sue
Ballard by now. The home has plenty
of beds or if you don't want to
share there is floor space for air
mattresses. It even has a separate
game room with air hockey, foosball
& a pool table to practice for
next year's tournament!"
Checks
are to be sent to Sue Ballard if you
plan to join the fun.
