February Meeting
When: February 20, 7:15pm
Where: Bally's Fitness Center
What: Sweat & Sweets

Sharon Simmon's is hosting this month's meeting. She is a member of Bally's and has numerous guest passes for us to join her there for a night of Sweat! After our workouts we will be going to Baker's Square for a piece of pie. Please RSVP Sharon so she knows who will be coming.

Ladies Beach Weekend

The beach house is available for the weekend of April 4-5. We made an executive decision at Sally's to go for it. It sleeps 10 comfortably, is on the beach, has a hot tub, is nice. It is $75 per person and the first 10 to get checks to Vicky are guaranteed bed space. Some of the beds have to be shared. There will be no refunds. You need to bring your own sheets and towels. Bring an extra towel (and bathing suit!) if you plan to use the hot tub. It is in Aptos down the beach from Seascape.

Sue Butler will be doing Crazy Bowling - date TBA

It was decided that we will have Craft Night every OTHER month this year.
If you have not volunteered to plan or host a meeting or Craft Night, please call or e-mail Kathy to fill in the blank.
Also if you have an idea for a Ladies, Adult, or family function just pick an open date & give Kathy the information.
Some of our most memorable events have been last minute & easy to plan.

Los Padres Golf News
Lou made golf dates at Forest Meadows. He reserved 2 houses for the week-end of June 6, 7 and 8, 2003. He already has some tee times for Forest Meadows, and the others have to be made closer to the date. Please call or e-mail Lou if you are interested in going.

Saturday Coffee Clatches Continue
Meet your Las Madres friends for some coffee and conversation at the Starbuck's at White and Aborn on Saturday mornings at 9am. Every third Saturday is a field trip. This month will be going to the Almaden Coffee Roasting Company. It is located on the corner of Redmond and Meridian. Afterwards, for those who choose, we can go to Anne Marie Brown's to preview the CARLISLE Spring 2003 Collection. (She's a close friend of Sue Butler's and Robin's.)

NOTE: Robin was the January Starbucks Diet Challenge winner!
