December is almost over and the anticipation of the new year is upon
us. With days away from Christmas we are not tying up packages
but tying up plans to move….Direct or Dish, which newspaper, which
garbage service.
Early December brought us a light dusting of snow. It only lasted a day
and the roads were clear for driving so nothing to cause problems. It
sure looked pretty, but we hope it stays away for another week while we
move in.
With all the major house hurdles over, we took time to enjoy some of
the areas holiday festivities, lights and entertainment. We went to
three shows in downtown Branson and saw the Dicken’s Christmas
Carol….it kinda put us in the holiday mood but in reality our focus is
on the house.
The garages are in transition The paint cans, saws and work horses, are
slowly leaving and making room for our purchases- vacuum, toilet paper,
TV, recliners replacing all the things we left behind. The UHaul is
arranged, the boys are on their way to help with the move. The POD and
furniture delivery is scheduled. Booya our adventure is almost over….or
is it yet to begin.
Happy New Year from Branson West….where the door is always open.
