Color
Run 2015....Vicki
Rasmussen
The Color
Run, an untimed fun run which supports
the American Diabetes Association, took
place Saturday, May 23 downtown. Robin
and Vicki joined 8,000 other
participants and completed the 5K
passing through blue, orange, yellow,
pink and silver color clouds. Tutus were
encouraged and could be found on women,
children and men alike. Robin and Vicki
were able to complete the run and still
make it to Away Coffee where the rest of
the club was enjoying great breakfast
sandwiches and relaxing in a sofa-filled
room at @YC located at 7th and
Taylor.

We are not
planning on attending but wanted to

I will not be
able to attend the fall trip.
Wonderful time
was had by all at Sally's. What
a hostess. The house looked
fabulous and the friendship and bond
we share is awesome.

Since Ed and Mary
Ryan are planning on going to New
Brighton in September (and no beach
breakfast was planned for this year)
anyone interested in just coming
for a visit at the camp since I'm not
sure of their long term plans in the
San Jose area at that time
frame. Just let us know if you
are coming for the day (and we do have
some camp sites if you are interested
in camping)

joy! Ten LM friends in SLO laughing
and eating, girls having fun!! Thank
you so much for coming down and
bringing all those goodies. And your
generous $180 is going for a bright
LM bedspread in the downstairs guest
bedroom and a neat plant I saw at
the garden shop in Morro Bay--so
come visit your new LM treasures
anytime. You are all welcome back,
even with spouses. We are quirky,
loud individuals, who bug one
another, love one another, and
SUPPORT one another. Life isn't
always easy, but it sure goes better
with friends. Love ya!
Fall
Ladies Trip Planning.....Shirley
I heard from Sue Butler that she can not
go on a Fall trip anytime in October and
she says we should keep it the first
week-end since people were already
counting on it. So- I guess we
need to see how many people would really
want to go then, how much they would be
willing to pay per night and how many
nights they would want to go. As I
said last email it is pretty pricy up in
Wine Country areas at that time so
we would need a firm number of
people to commit before booking, so as
to get a place the right size. I
didn't necessarily plan to organize this
trip- was just going to comment on the
Angels Camp situation. But, I will
do it with input. Other people
check around and see what places to stay
they can find and we can narrow it down.
I am excited Mary, Ruth and Cathy
are considering!
