Colorado
Ladies Trip Info
From Sue Butler:
$240.00 round trip from San Jose to
Denver, ends
9/27/13, Southwest non-stop
From Mary Ryan:
That is a good deal. I usually fly round
trip for
$250. Just so that you know, Sue, the Denver airport is approx. a
little over an hour to Colorado Springs. There is an airport in
Colorado Springs, however, it may be a little more to fly into there I
am not sure. Is Bud still flying out with you to visit his relatives in
Colorado Springs?
About the date--we discussed this on the
Cruise, we
are looking at the weekend of Sept.27th thru 29th. I need everyone that
is planning to come out to get together and determine when you will be
flying out meaning Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and then when
you will be flying back Sunday afternoon or Monday? As we discussed on
the Cruise, anyone that chooses to come out on Thursday afternoon can
stay here at my house for the night.(It is a 2 hour drive to Estes,
therefore it would be too late on Thursday night to drive then.) I have
one queen bed, one trendel bed, one twin bed, 3 couch's and one short
couch. We have 2 full baths and 2 half baths. If you fly in Friday
morning, we will most likely go straight to Estes Park. There are some
that want to see our house, but, might not fly in until Friday morning,
if that is the case, I mentioned that depending on when you fly out, we
can drive to our house for lunch before going to the airport which is
about 30 minutes from our house. Which ever everyone decides, I need to
know as soon as possible so that I can call to reserve the Cabin. I
will also need to know whether everyone wants to spend an extra $200 a
night to stay in a "vacation" home to have a dishwasher and a T.V.
which is the only difference between a "vacation" home and a Cabin.
Bottom line is -- I am waiting for you guys to get together and make
some decisions. Once this is done, I will take it from there and you
guys will have a fun weekend to look forward to.

Now
that I'm
older here's what I've discovered:
1. I started out with nothing, and I still have most of
it.
2. My wild oats have turned into prunes and all-bran.
3. I finally got my head together, and now my body is
falling apart.
4. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.
5. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.
6. If all is not lost, where is it?
7. It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser.
8. Some days, you're the dog; some days you're the
hydrant.
9. I wish the buck stopped here; I sure could use a few.
10. Kids in the back seat cause accidents.
11. Accidents in the back seat cause kids.
12. It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been
anywhere.
13. The only time the world beats a path to your door
is when you're in
the bathroom.
14. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he'd have put
them on my knees.
15. When I'm finally holding all the cards, why does
everyone want to
play chess?
16. Its not hard to meet expenses . . . they're
everywhere.
17. The only difference between a rut and a grave is
the depth.
18. These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about
the hereafter.....
......I go
somewhere to get something.....and then wonder what I'm hereafter
19. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.
20. DID I SEND THESE TO YOU BEFORE..........??????
(How much do you know about it?)
