At the January planning meeting, Merrilee volunteered to arrange a Wine & Paint Nite for our March meeting. There is a minimum number of participants needed (12).

Please RSVP Merrilee so she will know if we have the required number. If not, I'm sure she'll come up with an alternate plan (movie?, dinner?).

March Lunch Bunch

March Lunch Bunch will be on Monday, March 26th, 11:30 am, at the Golden Triangle in Los Gatos (271 N Santa Cruz Ave).

It comes highly recommended and had Far East Asian Fusion cuisine. (We will find out what that is!)

Wednesday Coffee Clatches

For March, we'll try something different for our Wednesday coffees by alternating the location during the month. On even weeks, we'll go to Panera Bread on Cottle Rd. On odd weeks, we'll go to Le Bou.

It's that time of year to battle it out on the table! No skills needed, just a good sense of humor and a willingness to suffer to agony of defeat.

St. Frances Cabrini Dinner for the Ladies.....Sue Butler

We are scheduled for Thursday March 22, 2018 for the dinner for the 15 ladies at St. Frances Cabrini Parish Center. We will make enough food for at least 20 people as we are going to be eating with them and there could be left overs for the priests.

Paper products are there already, so we need salad, main dish, side dish of some veggie possibly, dessert and drinks.

I said we would do pasta dish. (we should accommodate vegetarian, but she will find out for sure how many)

I will confirm details, but last year the ladies arrived back to the Center at 6:30 and were eating at 7 p.m.

If we have to make anything let's get there early (if it's just the garlic bread then we can get there by 6 p.m.)

All the same set up and clean up (I'm hoping they don't have the TV on during dinner time. I will make a comment about that.

Fall Trip.....Cathy Hennig

This year I am offering up Washington DC for the fall ladies trip. The house next door to me is now being rented as a VRBO so between my house and this one there is room. The date is Thursday October 4 to Tuesday the 9th. They are giving it to me for $100 a night. It has a queen bed, bunk beds and a day bed. 1 1/2 bath. I have two queens and can put an air bed in my office room. The weather has usually cooled some by then, but still not cold. I am two blocks from the metro so getting around is pretty easy. Lots of restaurants by me and fun little coffee shops. The weekends there is a farmers market and arts fair at Eastern Market 2 blocks from me also. So the short of it, I am in a very walkable area. The airport to use is DCA (Regan) it is a 10 minute drive from me and the others are over an hour away. Hope to see you and it is obvious space is a bit limited. As always it is very much a share space situation.
