Ladies Beach Weekend
The beach house
is available for the weekend of April 4-5. We made an executive
decision at Sally's to go for it. It sleeps 10 comfortably, is
on the beach, has a hot tub, is nice. It is $75 per person and
the first 10 to get checks to Vicky are guaranteed bed space.
Some of the beds have to be shared. There will be no refunds.
You need to bring your own sheets and towels. Bring an extra towel
(and bathing suit!) if you plan to use the hot tub. It is in Aptos
down the beach from Seascape.
Kid's Korner
Denise Heinrichsen is on an All-Star competitive cheerleading
squad called the Long Beach Elite(it is a brand new squad). They
placed 1st in their division at their first competition last weekend
on February 15th. Denise also just pledged during spring sorority
rush with Sigma Kappa.
Los Padres Golf News
Lou made golf
dates at Forest Meadows. He reserved 2 houses for the week-end
of June 6, 7 and 8, 2003. He already has some tee times for Forest
Meadows, and the others have to be made closer to the date. Please
call or e-mail Lou if you are interested in going.
Saturday Coffee
Clatches Continue
Meet your Las Madres friends for some coffee and conversation
at the Starbuck's at White and Aborn on Saturday mornings at 9am.
Every third Saturday is a field trip. This month will be going
on the FOURTH Saturday to Orchard Valley Roasting Company in Downtown Campbell on Campbell
Avenue. Randi says there is a coupon in the Entertainment book for this location. We'll do antique shopping afterwards.

EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE I LEARNED FROM A JIGSAW PUZZLE 1. Don't force a fit. If something is meant to be, it will come together naturally. 2. When things aren't going so well, take a break. Everything will look different when you return. 3. Be sure to look at the big picture. Getting hung up on the little pieces only leads to frustration. 4. Perseverance pays off. Every important puzzle went together bit by bit, piece by piece. 5. When one spot stops working, move to another. But be sure to come back later (see #4). 6. The creator of the puzzle gave you the picture as a guidebook. 7. Variety is the spice of life. It's the different colors and patterns that make the puzzle interesting. 8. Working together with friends and family makes any task fun. 9. Establish the border first. Boundaries give a sense of security and order. 10. Don't be afraid to try different combinations. Some matches are surprising. 11. Take time often to celebrate your successes (even little ones). 12. Anything worth doing takes time and effort. A great puzzle can't be rushed.
