Walk in the Park
Since the Alum Rock hiking group
had such a good (but cold) time, we decided to hike Almaden Lake for
the May meeting. Meet where Winfield drive dead ends at 6:00
outside the park to park cars so it won't cost us an entry fee.
Hike around for 45 to 60 minutes and then head somewhere to
eat.....Randi says there is a Chicken Coop near by. If it is
raining, we'll go with dinner and a movie....Janis

Greetings from
the Show Me State! I am not sure what it has shown but RAIN. Another
weird pattern of weather but no tornados. We arrived last Monday and
spent the week settling into our Cedar Creek Chalet aka our fifth
wheel. Spending lots of time shopping for staples and things to make
life easier. Had a nice holiday weekend with family and left for
Branson on Monday We checked out our RV park and got a nice site
next to a retired sheriff, nice and shady and near the pool.....if the
sun ever comes out. Our boat lift goes in next week.
Walt returns to SJ on Wed 5/4 to get the 4 Runner
and make another trek Gas was $4.79 in the Mojave but the minute you
hit Az it got better. Now it is $3.59.
