In lieu of the May meeting, we'll be taking a trip to SLO to visit Sally in her new digs.

Thursday, May 28th.
Afternoon arrival. Luna Red Happy Hour(all day Thursday), $5 Sangria and incredible appetizers (ask Marti)
Farmer’s Market (you can purchase a dinner there)
Dessert at Sally’s (provided)
 
Friday, May 29th
Breakfast and walking, talking, traveling - whatever people would like to do
Baileyana Winery - Tasting Room - Niven Family Wine EstatesWe will grab some snacks or sandwiches for lunch and enjoy some wine and bocce at this local winery
Late dinner when all have arrived, provided by Sally

Saturday, May 30
Breakfast provided by Sally
Morro Bay, see the rock, stroll on the beach, walk the streets. (We have done Cambria many times, and though charming, it is 45 miles each way—let’s see something new for many)
Dinner in or out, we will decide. We can make pizzas on the bbq, grill veggies, eat snacks etc. Or go to funky, delicious Taco Temple in Morro Bay.

Sunday, May 31
Coffee and morning munchies
Stroll Bob Jones Trail in Avila, a flat, paved scenic walk, just over a mile to the beach. Brunch/lunch, depending on time, at Custom House.
Those who need to get back can leave after brunch, or walk around  the town of Avila Beach.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
2 double beds and 1 queen size (that will sleep 6). Two big couches, (2) 1 barcalounger, 1 double air mattress, 1 queen air mattress. If more than 13 people come we will need more air mattresses.  I have towels for 8 people, so if your birthday is in an odd numbered month, bring your own. I have 3 extra pillows—all beds also have pillows.
I will provide black tea, coffee, Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast. Can’t wait. I will be out of town May 6-16.

Saturday Coffee Clatches Continue

We meet every Saturday morning at 9 am at Le Boulanger at San Felipe and Yerba Buena.  There is a Starbucks across from it if you need something "special" to go with your bagel or pastry. 

Away coffee for May will be @YC (At Your Convenience) on the 23rd. (347 Taylor @ 7th)

Surprise, I am writing you an email.

I NEED HELP AND SOON, BEFORE I STARVE TO DEATH !!!!

I am guessing that you are wondering how come I’m doing this — it’s just because I am locked into my computer room and cannot get out.  I was trying to put a door knob on the door and got started, but the thing went completely closed as I was trying to see if it was going to fit — and now here I am having to stoop so low as to write an email to you to see if you could call someone to come get me out.  My phones, of course, are all in the other room. I thought that perhaps you could call Beverly and have her and Howie come over and get me out.  If you happen to have Tami’s number then call her.

Anyhow, can you get me out of here.  I guess I’ll just play games on the computer until someone lets me out of here.  Send me an email to let me know you are doing this for me.
