October Meeting
When: October 22, 7 pm

Where: Pioneer High School
What: My Fair Lady

Come see "My Fair Lady" on October 22nd at Pioneer High School (1292 Blossom Hill Road).  Starts at 7 pm but arrive early to leave time for parking.  Everyone needs to get their own tickets online this year (or you can group together with each other and have one person get them if you want to sit together).  You go to:  http://phsdrama.ludustickets.com/index.php.  It is very easy... you select date (Oct. 22), choose seats, and pay by credit card. ($7 for 62+ or students, $15 General Admission + small service fee).  You can then print your tickets from home.  I would get them ASAP as the good seats will go quickly. Happy Hour.....Vicki

October Happy Hour

No Happy Hour in October as we held it a little early on September 30th, so people who couldn't make the Ladies Trip could visit with Cathy Hennig and Mary Ryan.

We meet every Saturday morning at 9 am at Le Boulanger at San Felipe and Yerba Buena.  There is a Starbucks across from it if you need something "special" to go with your bagel or pastry.

Away coffee for September will be on the 24th at Bitter & Sweet, 20560 Town Center Lane, (off DeAnza @Village Center) Cupertino.

A Birthday Wish

A man asked his wife what she'd like for her birthday. "I'd love to be six again," she replied.

On the morning of her birthday, he got her up bright and early and off they went to a local theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear-everything there was!

Wow! Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park, her head reeling and her stomach upside down. Right to a McDonald's they went, where her husband ordered a Big Mac for her along with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie - the latest Star Wars epic, and hot dogs, popcorn, Pepsi Cola and M&Ms. What a fabulous adventure!

Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed.

He leaned over and lovingly asked, "Well, dear, what was it like being six again?"

One eye opened. "I meant my dress size."
