Meeting
When: Thursday, February 16, 6:00pm
Where: Online with Zoom

Online with Zoom so all members can attend.

We meet on Saturday mornings at 9:00am for coffee at LeBou.  We may go over the hill to Starbucks or somewhere else at times, but that will be determined by a text between the "locals".
Other Info

At the January Online Planning Meeting the following was determined:

Dues are still $20 payable to Sue Ballard.  She accepts payment by Venmo, Zelle, or check (made out to her name).  Venmo & Zelle uses her email address.

Donations - Flowers of Comfort.  Vicki will let us know when they need $ for supplies, flowers, etc.aa

Zoom Meetings will continue to be on the 3rd Thursday so all members can attend, especially since we have so many "away" members.

Merrilee will be the coordinator for a roving, pop-up, "special" meeting/activity/events, but anyone can provide her with suggestions.

See the bottom of the newsletter for a list of the new "Officer
s".

Special Event...Merrilee

On February 23, at 4:30pm, we will attend Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibition at Oakridge. The exhibit takes between 60 and 90 minutes. You do need a smartphone to get the app and earphones are recommended. We will go to dinner afterwards.  The regular cost is $29. However, there is a senior rate. Also, there are supposed to be coupons, so look for those. We may be able to get a group rate if enough people are interested. Please let
Merrilee
know on February 18 (after she returns from her Southeast Asia trip), if you want to attend.

Spring Ladies Trip...Ruth

To the ladies planning on the May trip to Santa Rosa:  As we've had such a great response, and unfortunately not enough beds at my house, my sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Bill Eastman, have offered up one of their many AirBnB's.  The one they've offered is within a few minutes of my house.  Bill and Lisa will not let me pay for it....they told our family when they started the AirBnB business that the homes would be made available to family for free.  So, please accept their generosity.  Half of the ladies will stay at my house and the other at the AirBnB.  Everyone should now have a bed.  Dee Castagnoli is coming but is staying at a hotel, probably the Flamingo, which is also close to my home.  My brother Buz and Doug have offered to bbq the first night that you are here and I will have breakfast fixings available at both houses. If Bill and Walt and any other spouses are staying in the area, they will be welcome for dinner that first night, if that's ok with everyone.  Think about what you'd like to do while you're here, and of course we don't all have to do the same things.  I will prepare a list of possible options for the March newsletter.  All this rain should make everything green and beautiful for your trip to the wine country!  Looking forward to a, no doubt, memorable Las Madres gathering.
